I wrote about the Japonesque Pro Studio Cabinet in my holiday luxe list roundup, but wanted to revisit the topic now that I'm publishing 2009 beauty resolutions.
In one of my very first posts when I launched this beauty blog (almost 2 years ago), I raved about my train case and how organized it kept my makeup. Every word was true at the time, but as the volume of products in my bathroom grew, my once-beloved train case was no longer a valid solution. The deep compartments in the bottom were so full of makeup, I found it impossible to pinpoint the location of any specific product. My brushes had to migrate to a separate bag to make room for my ever-growing cosmetic collection (irritating!). Eventually, the case was so full, I couldn't even close it. Check out the image to the left, and you can see that my cup runneth over. I had cosmetics spilled all over my countertop!
Luckily, I recently switched the treasured contents of my traincase over to Japonesque's Pro Studio Cabinet, and finally I'm organized! Check out the image to the right, to see the impressive transformation. This case opens to reveal a super-deep top compartment, and metal drawers in varying widths and depths. I now have separate drawers for foundation and concealers, lipsticks, mascara, eye and lip pencils, and one massive drawer for all of my glosses. My favorite part? My brushes are all at the ready in neat slots tucked inside the doors of the case.
I can't sing the praises of the Pro Studio Cabinet loud enough! Click here to head over to Japonesque to check out their images of the product, and to find a retailer near you! They have storage options in all shapes and sizes!
