Aveda’s Petal Essence Face Accents in Shimmer Shell
As a fair skinned gal, some bronzers are too dark for me to use and achieve a natural look. I’m always on the lookout for some faux glow fun that I can actually pull off! Pale readers, meet Aveda’s Shimmer Shell Petal Essence Face Accents! Designed to be a bronzer, blush and highlighter all in one–this product is a winner because you can single out the colors as needed, or swirl them all together into a gorgeous shimmery apricot champagne that absolutely glows.
During the Winter months, I’ve been applying the two lightest shades from Aveda’s Shimmer Shell product all over the face. Then, I swirl all of the shades together and re-do the areas of the face that would tan first, like the apples of the cheek and bridge of the nose. The look is very natural and beautiful, and the application is even and streak-free.
As if you needed to read more, this product contains NO TALC! For sensitive skinned or breakout prone, this is an important point, as talc tends to aggravate these conditions.
