The shame about being in your 30s is that you need a killer anti-aging regime, but also occasionally need to switch gears to an anti-acne regimen.
Recently introduced to Avene, you can bet I sing its praises whenever I’m offered an opportunity. The Eau Thermale Soap-free Cleanser (retail of $15) has the consistency of a gel, and leaves the skin feeling clean and completely free of oil. Perfect for oily, breakout-prone skin, this gentle cleanser never leaves the skin feeling overly dry or tight.
Trouble spots? The Salyic Acid in Avene’s Eau Thermale Acne Spot Treatment (retail $16) in a mini-tube expertly targets them. I had a cystic acne breakout in its infancy when I started using this line, and applied this cream to the trouble spot. Overnight, it disappeared!
The Eau Thermale Cleanance Anti-Shine Regulating Lotion (retail $18) is a light moisturizer that won’t clog pores. It also mattifies the skin, making it ideal for taming that t-zone before makeup application.
The Thermal Spring Water (retail $11) reigns supreme– perfect to keep skin hydrated in the heat or refreshed mid-day in the office. You can also buy a small travel size that’s perfect for hydration at 30,000 feet!
I’m looking forward to sampling more from Avene! In the meanwhile, check it out at drugstore.com, or the Avene USA website.
