Happy Beauty Blog-o-versary!

FIVE years ago today, I published my very first post on Raging Rouge!  My oldest son was an “only” at the time, and at 18 months old he was sleeping through the night and napping regularly for 3 hours a day.  This Mom was house-bound, but well-rested enough to seek both intellectual stimulation and a way to keep her resume fresh.  Add those desires to a life-long love of writing and bathroom cabinets filled with fun beauty products, and you get the birth of this beauty reviews blog!

Blogging has been an exciting and enriching experience.  Raging Rouge has become a part-time job of sorts (and I am actually writing this post in a notebook while getting a pedi, so it’s a pretty sweet job to have).  It has been my pleasure to “virtually” meet so many like-minded women all over the world.  Perhaps the best perk has been the opportunity to provide information and entertainment to a very saavy and very chic group of makeup shoppers… YOU!

Beauty Blog Giveaway!

Naturally, the best way to celebrate Raging Rouge’s five year anniversary is a giveaway!  No… I’m not going to force you to “follow” me in any way (though if you are interested, I can be added as a friend on Facebook or you can follow me on Twitter).  The only requirement to enter this giveaway is that you subscribe to my email newsletter.  Once upon a time, I sent out newsletters bi-monthly.  Sadly, I haven’t sent ANY in about a year!!!  My point is that subscribing won’t fill your inbox.  This is only a means to collect information on how to contact the winner, and you can easily unsubscribe if you wish when the giveaway is over.

Up for grabs?  In honor of lucky #5, the winner will receive a $50 eGift Card to spend on anything you wish from Sephora!  Gift card will be provided via email to the lucky winner.  If you are already a subscriber… no action is needed!  If not, simply enter your email address in the entry form at the top right of this page.   

Giveaway Details

Winner must confirm via email that they are over 18 (19 from Alabama and Nebraska, or 21 from Mississippi), and must explicitly agree to my disclaimer. Winner must respond to email notification within 48 hours of drawing or prize will be forfeit and a new winner will be selected. Raging Rouge reserves the right to substitute any prize listed with a prize equal or greater in retail value, if need be. Winner will be randomly selected from those who have subscribed sooner than noon on February 1, 2012.  Void where prohibited by law.
