I’m going to dig WAY WAY back now, to my very first lip balm memory. I was about 5 or 6, and a close childhood friend and I rode in the backseat of a car together. She had recently been given a ChapStick in either Cherry or Strawberry, and was applying it. Naturally, I wanted some too, so she passed it over. Everyone has a “go-to” shade of taupe. Urban Decay’s Mushroom is a sooty brown that is an excellent selection if you’re looking to restock on taupe.
