Black Swan and Undercurrent (swatches below) are two shades of Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner from the MAC A Tartan Tale limited-edition holiday 2010 collection. Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner is super-smudgy, and delivers rich vibrant color that wears for eternities. These sexy shades have such an edgy rock-n-roll vibe! After living through the 80s once, I never dreamed I’d be wearing deep shimmering teal shades like Undercurrent (on right), but I seriously can’t resist this deep greenish blue. Do take the plunge (pardon the pun), if you’re feeling daring this season! Black Swan is a true black with a metallic shimmer, a true crowd pleaser!
Retail price is $14.50 per pencil.

Dearest Dany-
I love you! No, seriously, I do. Your Make Up For Ever line is jaw-droppingly amazing. When new products are launched by your brand, it’s always clear they are the result of careful planning, lots of testing and a touch of artistic TLC.
Each year, I look forward to checking out the Make Up For Ever holiday lineup… Most especially to take a peek at what luxe offering you and the team will come up with next! Similarly minded devotees will certainly swoon to see the must-have Make Up For Ever products you’ve included in the Dany’s Essentials gift set!
Housed in a hard-rock studded train case (that is a high enough quality to retail for at least $50 on its own), the “Dany’s Essentials” product compilation from the Rock For Ever holiday 2010 collection has been my favorite drool-over gift idea of the season. Sure, the set has a high pricetag of $299, but since it’s filled with almost $600 in product, it’s actually a 50% off deal in disguise!
So thank you again, Dany! I’m a lover of luxe, and you do it so SO well!
xoxox, Jen aka Raging Rouge

Her Blooming Cheek is just a touch lighter and pinker than Full Fuchsia from the Brash & Bold collection.
Enviably fun eyeshadow is a pale yellow/olive green.
Follow Your Fantasy is a mid-tone peach eyeshadow. In a pinch, it doubles as a fantastic blush!
