Scar Away Silicone Scar Sheets Review

We had literally just moved to another state, and after a two week period where it seemed to be all work and no play, our family visited a water spray park that my youngest son adored. He needed a boost so badly that day, and then it happened. While my son was running toward me through the water spray, another kid crashed into him from the side with full force. My son flew through the air and landed on his side with nothing to break the fall. I didn’t see his head hit the ground, but clearly it did, because as he ran toward me I saw a HUGE gash in his cheek that was deep, and white, and oh my GOD… we need to get to an ER!

After that horrible experience, he was left with a giant scar on his cheek about two inches long. As a beauty blogger, I naturally had an abundance of recommendations from my friends, but nothing topical seemed very effective. Finally, I read about ScarAway. The Silicone Scar Sheets are apparently now popular with surgeons, so I decided to give them a go.

ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets couldn’t be simpler to use. They apply much like a band-aid, only the entire underside of the bandage adheres to the skin. They are easily (and painlessly) removed in the morning, and don’t leave any sticky residue behind like a Band-Aid would. My son wore them to sleep each night, removing them in the morning.
