FOREO LUNA 2 Facial Cleansing Mode
Each FOREO LUNA 2 features a two-sided design for both cleansing and anti-aging. The cleansing side of the device, photographed above, features a bumpy, textured surface that vibrates against the skin using T-Sonic technology. This cleansing gently removes makeup and exfoliates the skin. The texture of this cleansing side will vary, depending on your skin type. My FOREO LUNA 2 is designed for sensitive skin, so this model features smaller nodules for gentler cleansing. Courser textures are offered for oily skin.
To use the FOREO LUNA 2, first you must charge the device. The device comes with a USB cable, so you can even charge the device using your laptop! No worries for business travelers, the FOREO LUNA 2 doesn’t require frequent charging. One charge can last for up to 7 months!
The FOREO LUNA 2 is waterproof, so it can be toted into the shower with you in the morning, used by the sink in the evening, or even perched at the side of a warm bath if you’d like to indulge in this very pampering skincare ritual while you enjoy a hot soak.
To turn on the device, simply press the indentation on the front. This will launch the FOREO LUNA 2 into cleansing mode, with slight pauses as a reminder to move to a different section of the face. Start at the forehead, move to the nose, and then each cheek (including the chin). Remember this isn’t designed to be used as a scrub-brush! Simply glide the device gently over the surface of the skin in small, circular motions. The device will pause three times rapidly when this portion of the routine is over, signaling you to turn it off briefly while you rinse cleanser off of your skin.
FOREO LUNA 2 Anti-Aging Mode
After applying your anti-aging products, the device can be turned back on. The flip side of the FOREO LUNA 2 is now utilized. It features a ridged texture, shown in photo above, and the vibration is more of a percussion-style. The device should be held against wrinkle-prone areas of the face. Focus on frown lines, crow’s feet, and other trouble spots. Once again, the device will pause three times rapidly when this stage is complete. If the intensity during any phase of this skincare regimen is too vigorous or too gentle, it can be changed using the plus and minus buttons on the front of the device.
What do I think of the FOREO LUNA 2? Simply put it’s a brilliant tool, that happens to be very effective! When I finish cleansing using this product, my skin feels positively clean with no tightness or dryness. The low-maintenance gal in me appreciates the fact that it doesn’t have parts that need replacing, or any special treatment at all.
