If you haven’t had the chance, you should head on over to Nordstrom.com to peruse their collection of beauty exclusives. These items can be pre-ordered now, and will begin shipping on July 20th. One of my personal favorites in their selection is the Kinerase "Pure Radiance" Kit, pictured at the left. This kit can be preordered for $120, and contains a full-size C6 Peptide Intensive Treatment (1 oz.), Cream (1.4 oz.) and Intensive Eye Cream (0.7 oz).
The product in this kit has a retail value of $266, so it definitely qualifies as a steal at over 50% off! If you haven’t had the chance to sample Kinerase, be sure to read my reviews of C6 Peptide and Cream.
Sephora Double-Ended Blemish Extractor
I recently touched upon the topic of pore extraction by reviewing Biore Pore Strips, so I figured I should probably discuss the double-sided tool the pros use for pore extraction.
The flat loop side is for blackhead extraction. The wiry loop side can extract even the smallest whiteheads quickly and effortlessly. I will NOT say painlessly, because it will indeed cause some pain. Use this in the creases of your nose and I promise your eyes will water!
I’ve owned my double-ended pore extractor for a few years, and have rarely used it until recently. I was never really confident that I could use it properly. During my last facial, I requested a lesson in how to use this tool. My aesthetician gladly obliged. I recommend you do the same at your next facial, so you can put this tool to work for you!
Benefit Non Fiction Foundation
I think we’ve all learned the lesson at this point: Fall 2007 beauty is about decidedly matte skin and decidedly red lips. All good, as far as I am concerned!
Benefit Non-Fiction Foundation is an excellent way to achieve a perfect powder-finish complexion for the Fall. It’s incredibly light on the skin, covers imperfections and leaves a matte finish.
In the 90s, I decided to start wearing foundation daily. My reasoning was the perfect finish foundation gives the skin would be incentive for me to wear an SPF every day.
I’m a little older, a little wiser, and a LOT panicked about sun damage. My SPF is applied daily prior to makeup application, so I no longer require a foundation with SPF. Benefit realized that most people may not need (or want) a double-dose of SPF ingredient, so their foundation excludes it!
Benefit Non Fiction retails for $30, and comes in ten different shades. Stop by Benefit Cosmetics to check it out, or one of the other zillions of retailers that carries Benefit Cosmetics (like Amazon.com, Beauty.com, Macys.com and Sephora.com)!
