Now that my oldest son is almost 6, he generally doesn’t find me interesting enough to play with. While his little brother naps, he runs off to play with neighborhood children and I attempt to tackle outdoor chores while remaining in ear-shot.
This led me to poke around in an old stack of paintings I had worked on back when I had so much “free time” I actually engaged in multiple hobbies.
