In my teens, I always ALWAYS applied foundation with a sponge. As an adult however, I have relied on foundation brushes instead. As a beauty blogger it seems funny to admit this was my first trial of the BeautyBlender! Since so many of my beauty loving friends depend on BeautyBlender for flawless foundation application, I couldn’t wait to finally give it a try.
To use this product, as BeautyBlender always says… just wet, squeeze, and bounce! The first step is to wet the sponge and squeeze out the excess water so the product is damp. Dab the sponge into your foundation, then bounce the sponge against your skin to apply! The result is a very natural-looking finish! This product is simply sublime at blending.
How is this sponge different than a traditional makeup sponge? The unique egg-shape ensures there is no harsh line during application, leading to a seamless streak-free finish.
