CARGO Swimmables Makeup Review and Swatches
The CARGO Swimmables Blush and Bronzer is housed in the ever-recognizeable CARGO tin. I’ve always loved CARGO packaging!
The team over at CARGO sent me so many eye and lip pencils to test!
Three shades of CARGO Swimmables Eye Pencil are featured above. From left to right: Secret Beach (nude), Pfeiffer Beach (purple), and Grey Lake (a deep glossy gray). These eye pencils aren’t just waterproof, they perform in a way I love. CARGO Swimmables Eye Pencil is soft and malleable, and can be smudged to perfection before setting to a budge-proof, water-proof finish!
CARGO Swimmables Lip Pencil swatches above, from left to right: Moscow (a soft true red), Jaipur (a deep burgundy), Canaria (a neutral pink), and Oahu (a neutral nutmeg). You can see these lip pencils deliver rich, vivid color with a classic matte finish. They are movie-star quality!
So now, for the waterproof test. Here is my makeup BEFORE exposure to water. I’m not wearing any other makeup of any kind, only sunscreen and CARGO Swimmables Eye Pencil.
How did I test these waterproof formulas? HERE! My family LOVES Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix, so I used a visit as an opportunity to see how well the waterproof formulas would hold up in not just water, but EXTREME water action! Just FYI, I did indeed ride this waterslide and many others before shooting my “after” photo! This slide is head first, and delivers a firm splash directly to the face!
You’ll have to excuse the difference in lighting in the photo above, but it was taken outside. This is the “after” shot. Not bad, right? That liner is still perfectly in place!
