Before I give you a closer look, I want to talk pricing. I recently explained to my regular readers that I do my best to sample product without reading any promotional materials or looking at pricing. My goal is to provide as unbiased a review as possible. This former buyer also loves to guess what the retail is, based on the performance and appearance of the product. I am rarely surprised, but Eddie Funkhouser lip color performed like prestige product, at a much lower price point than expected!

First impressions? Luxurious, sleek, and contemporary. These lipsticks just look expensive, don’t you think?
At the left is Strip Search, a vivid magenta Chromographic Lip Color delivering rich color and shine. At the right is Innuendo, a Hyperreal Nourishing Lip Color that feels as soothing as a lip treatment, and looks lustrous.

Eddie Funkhouser Lip Gloss
Once again, the packaging looks luxe and modern. These glosses feature a sponge-tip wand for application. The gloss formula feels emollient and smooth, not sticky or heavy.
Swatches from the left is Meow Meow, a gorgeous neutral beige. Belle De Jour, a bright medium pink, and Stolen Kisses a neutral that leans pink laced with sparkle. Retail is $10.99.

I love the formula of these – so creamy.
I love my Eddie Funkhouser products. I have Meow Meow and get a lot of use out of it. I love Strip Search and Belle du Jour. They are pinks I can live with and not look washed out.
Belle de Jour is SO pretty. Darn, I wish I would have gotten that one. Off I go to see if it’s on the site because if so…it’s mine!
