Normally, I stockpile my preferred brand of eye makeup remover. Recently, while cleansing, I realized I was completely out of stock. The next day I visited my local drugstore, and they were ALSO out. I paced the aisles in disbelief, then panic. Finally, an employee recommended I try Almay Eye Makeup Remover. She actually recommended the oil-free version, but I thought "I have dry skin… I should probably take the moisturizing product."
Oh my GOD, what a mistake! This product is oil… pure and simple. Why not just buy a bottle of baby oil and attempt to remove your eye-makeup with it, instead? Not only did it leave my eyes a disgusting, oily mess… I woke the next day with horrible raccoon eyes. It didn’t remove even half of my makeup!
Almay stamps this product with this claim: "America’s #1 Eye Makeup Remover Brand." Am I missing something here? Fans of this product please step forward, and explain to me why on earth you like it. I’m dying to know.
