Fashion Fanatic Plushglass Swatch
The MAC Vera makeup collection contains five shades of pretty Plushglass. Fashion Fanatic, swatched above, is a super pale barely-there pink. Shades of pink are a go-to color for many, but this spring pale pink is starting to feel a bit stodgy and old.
Butterfly Dream Plushglass Swatch
Ah… now this is more like it! The difference is subtle, but definitely visible! The warmer pink neutrals of yesteryear have been replaced with sheer glosses with a cooler lavender hue, like Butterfly Dream (swatch above). The bluish-violet shade of this Plushglass is more trendy for Spring 2012, and a welcome departure from the WAY over-worn pink. I love the opalescent finish, that simply dances in the sunlight!
