There was a time–it seems like another lifetime–I was out ALL THE TIME. I am only slightly exaggerating. I lived and loved Washington, DC, and at 5:00 pm I was the ultimate dismissal bell, rounding up my friends and colleagues for a night out. “COME ON!” I would scold them as they tried to wrap up projects. Important to prepping for happy hour was SPF, as there were plenty of months where the party would start outside. This was tricky at the time, when many products didn’t contain an SPF. Today, I would only need to touch up my makeup with MAC Pro Longwear Compact Foundation! Not only does it improve the appearance of the skin, but the product contains an SPF 20 that is just enough protection for that happy hour sun.
What puzzles me most about NC20 is how warm it looks against my skin. This shade is supposed to be for those with cool undertones, but does appear a bit yellow in my swatch, as you can see. The finish is an incredible matte!
