I’ll be honest… before receiving samples from the company for review purposes, I had never heard of JAFRA! JAFRA utilizes a multi-level marketing strategy to spread the word about their products, so you won’t stumble upon this line in any department store. If you’re new to the brand as well, this post is to introduce you to some of the classic and trendy shades included in their recently-launched 2011 color line (the first update to their line in 10 years)!
Swatch (left to right): JAFRA eye pencil in black (sharpens to a very fine point), JAFRA automatic lip pencil in Fire Red (retractable by turning the base of the pencil) and JAFRA Full Coverage Lipstick in Very Cherry (a classic berry red perfect for any season).
I was very impressed with the rich color payoff of JAFRA eye pencil, lip pencil and lipstick. The eye pencil in pure black is every woman’s basic go-to black. It’s smudgy and rich, but the pencil can sharpen to an extremely precise point, making subtle application a snap. JAFRA automatic lip pencil dispenses with a quick twist of the pencil’s base, for mess-free on the go sharpening. The shade “Fire Red” creates the uber-bright orange lip that is on-trend for 2011! JAFRA Lipstick in Very Cherry creates the a classic, movie-starlet red lip. Very Cherry would work for any complexion!

JAFRA nail lacquer in burgandy. I love this dinner-party worthy wine nail lacquer shade. The only con is the bottle is equipped with a super long brush, which was a bit difficult for me to control.
