This season, I had the opportunity to play with the ENTIRE Summer 2012 Milani Nail Lacquer lineup, thanks to winning a giveaway hosted by another beauty blog! I’d never sampled anything from this family-managed brand, so it was a wonderful surprise to stumble upon this budget beauty line, and its on-trend color lineup for Summer 2012.
Milani Summer 2012 Nail Lacquer Collection:
Just Grayt, Signature Gold, and Fuchsia Fierce Swatches
Above are three of my faves from the collection: Just Grayt, Signature Gold, and Fuchsia Fierce. The finish is very glossy, and the wear time is excellent. I got a solid week out of my mani without any chips, which–for a very hands on mom of two boys–I rate as excellent wear time.
Notable is that the formula seems thin to me, compared to other brands I use. This has no impact on performance, just something I detected! I tried to use this formula with a nail stamp, and it was too watery for this purpose.
Milani Nail Lacquer is DBP, Toluene, and Formaldehyde Free.
