I left my local bank the other day extremely annoyed for two reasons.
1) Apparently, my newborn son’s bank account had been open incorrectly. Why was I even surprised? If Washington Mutual executives can’t run a business, should I really expect their employees to know how to properly open a simple bank account?
2) Even after pulling away from the drive-up window, my car was completely permeated with the scent of the teller’s extremely strong cologne. He had doused himself in it so thoroughly, my eyes were literally burning as I drove away. Grrrr!
As I aired out my car on the way home, I wished the bank teller had been wearing KenzoPower. The scent is so subtle, I doubt it’s even possible to over-apply.
KenzoPower–a new men’s fragrance by Kenzo–is not overtly masculine. Borderline androgynous, it’s just slightly too masculine for a woman to wear. Created by Olivier Polge, this woodsy-sweet scent is unique enough to turn heads. As usual, Kenzo thought through every last detail from the packaging to the scent. The bottle is a highly-polished mirrored metal, fashioned after a sake bottle and strongly Japanese. The box is made of soft textured paper, meant to invoke simplicity.
Notes: Spicy Citric Top Note (Bergamot, Coriander, Cardamom), Abstract Floral Heart (Rose, Jasmine, Freesia) and Woody Amber Base (Tolu Balsam, Cedar Wood and Labdanum).
