Makeup snobs, rejoice. The Lancôme L-Absolu Rouge Lipstick is a luxe experience from the moment you remove the magnetically-charged lid to when you apply. The color is intense and streak-free, and the finish is a demi-matte (a perfect start for the matte-o-phobics in the house).
The packaging is a very modern sleek black with striking gold accents. We all like our lipstick tubes to be gorgeous, right? Well, these fit the mark! They feature a magnetic closure that ensures the lid snaps on correctly and stays on in your purse.
Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick, Le Magenta and Le Sepia
Le Magenta is a deep flash of pink, and Le Sepia is a deep red. On the Lancôme website, Le Sepia is pictured much differently! Not sure why the disconnect there… I’m not one to wear red lipstick regularly, but 285 is a forgiving shade, so I keep it front and center in case the mood strikes me! Le Magenta is a perfect shade for easing into Spring, a gorgeous pop of tulip-inspired color!
Retail price is $30.50 per lipstick. Six shades are available.
Retailers include Lancome-usa.com, Nordstrom.com, NeimanMarcus.com, Bloomingdales.com, and Saks.com.
