Happy Thanksgiving my loyal readers! I sincerely hope you have a lot to be Thankful for! Traffic to Raging Rouge tends to be light on holidays like today, but if you’re like me you’re looking for a little break from all of the socializing. So while you’re chilling in the family room crammed in with your cousins, I figured you might appreciate a little eye candy.
Lancôme recently redesigned their L’Absolu Rouge tube design, and even updated their shade range to be more modern and cutting edge. Finishes available in the collection include sheer, matte, and cream.
Retail price is $32 per tube. Keep scrolling for more images of the new packaging, and to see swatches of the lipstick shades above!
Retailers include Lancome-usa.com, Nordstrom.com, NeimanMarcus.com, Bloomingdales.com, and Saks.com.

The tubes feature rose gold accents, and the lipstick is actually opened by pressing the Lancôme rose on top of each tube. The button ejects the lipstick beneath. The design totally has a James Bond feeling.
There are a total of 44 shades available in the collection, a veritable rainbow of options. Shown above are Pourquois Pas?– a medium sheer pink, Nuit & Jour– a sheer neutral, and Caprice– a bold red/orange cream.
