I had the opportunity to do something really amazing recently, readers! I was invited to tour the Lather Scottsdale location, at Kierland Commons. This Pasadena-based beauty company was founded by Emilie Davidson Hoyt, who grew up suffering from migraines and sensitivities to synthetic ingredients, something I experience myself as an adult. Rather than simply suffer through it all, she developed her own line of product utilizing essential oils and olive oil. Guess what? People LOVED it, and her small company quickly grew into a much larger adventure, with locations in Pasadena, Scottsdale, Atlanta, and Fairfax!
How To Shop Lather
Now look, I know you. You want to get right down to talking about the goodies. This post does NOT contain a product review! My goal is to introduce you to the experience you can expect in-store. First things first. When you wander in with a product in mind, you don’t need to hunt around to find it. The Lather store is conveniently organized by color. Products for the face are in orange, treatments are purple, bath & body is light blue, shave is green, and hair is dark blue. If you’re on a mission for something specific, you simply have to follow the color!
Experience Lather Products
The staff at Lather won’t follow you around harassing you or trying to upsell you. Their products aren’t housed in glass cases. They give you space to PLAY and enjoy the products! The back of Lather Scottsdale features a sink lined with luscious Lather products for you to dip into and try out for yourself, but you can also grab a sample from anywhere in the store! Get your hands smoother than they’ve ever felt with the Bamboo Lemongrass Foaming Body Scrub, then follow it up with some Hand Therapy before you finish wandering around! Tired Moms can simply keep a toddler busy with hand washing while they browse. If you’re in the mood for a soothing body wash with your own custom scent, there’s an essential oil bar to visit and mix something unique. Not feeling imaginative? Select something yummy from their tried-and-true recipe list!
Bring Your Girlfriends To Lather
If you’re in dire need for a Mom’s Night Out, Lather Scottsdale hosts private in-store parties where you can relax with your friends and family and shop in peace! The store actually provides refreshments, and great GWPs for the elite on your guest list to enjoy!
Holiday Gift Ideas From Lather
I’m going to be opinionated, as always. If you are spending the holidays at a home other than your own, you should always arrive armed with an amazing hostess gift, and it should be something luxe and pampering for the hostess who is about to cook, clean, entertain, and otherwise slave for your enjoyment. Lather gift sets are IDEAL for a hostess, and also make a great teacher gift!
The team at Lather Scottsdale was kind enough to give me some product samples. Reviews of these will be coming SOON, but while you’re waiting click HERE to shop Lather online. They offer free shipping on orders of $60 or more!
