Laura Mercier’s Portfolio Animation makeup launch will extend the Second Skin Cheek Colour selection by FIVE new shades! I’m personally in love with Laura Mercier Heather Pink Second Skin Cheek Colour, photographed above.
Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour Review
Heather Pink is a vivid cheek hue, which is super-trendy for the Spring of 2012. Yet, the shade is also soft and girlish, a departure from the almost-neon shades that are everywhere right now. If you’re looking to update your look for Spring 2012, but are too shy to dabble in near-neons, Heather Pink is a great choice!
Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour applies evenly, and feels like silk on the skin. Blush has a tendency to simply disappear on me, especially in warmer months. I immediately noticed (and appreciated) the long wear time of this product.
Other new shades include Peach Whisper, Soft Iris, Honey Mocha and Sweet Mandarin.
Retail price is $24 per compact.

My fall and winter favorite is still Chanel’s Tempting Beige, but for a lighter summer look, this blush was a good choice. It looks good over foundation and powder, and just by itself.
