Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is legendary in the cosmetics world, and has been a cult favorite for years. So I was thrilled when I learned the brand was launching a compact version of their tinted moisturizer formula, and passed along a sample for me to review.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Crème Compact SPF 20 is housed in a silver compact with two sections: the top contains the tinted moisturizer in a pressed format, and the bottom contains a circular sponge applicator.
I find the finish of this product to be a bit more matte than the typical tinted moisturizer, so I don’t think I would really replace my usual tinted moisturizer with this product for morning application. I know matte finishes are becoming increasingly popular, but my personal opinion is that a dewy finish is more youthful and forgiving on my skin, now that I am in my 40s.
I am really loving the ease of application with this product, however. Reapplying tinted moisturizer on the go is either tricky or impossible, so this is a must-have for touchups throughout the day!
