butter LONDON is one of my favorite nail polish brands, so I was especially excited to read that they recently launched a new line of lip product to match perfectly with some of their nail lacquer shades! Lippy Butter was originally introduced in Spring 2012 with only 5 color choices. As I write this, the brand has already expanded this gloss collection to 12 shades, and I’m predicting we will see even more selection as new seasonal collections are released.

I had the opportunity to sample “Come To Bed Red” at left, and “Toff” at right. You know that I’m already a big fan of Toff, as this dusky mauve is such a great neutral pick for Fall 2012. It’s a bonus that there’s a matching lip shade available for this beloved Nail Lacquer! Come To Bed Red is a classic Hollywood starlet red, a shade every woman should have in her makeup stash.
butter LONDON Lippy Butter is extremely vivid in color, and has a thicker consistency than a standard gloss. In fact, I would compare this product to a liquid lipstick. The color payoff and even staying power are better than a standard gloss. The scent is a divine and unusual hazelnut.
LIPPY does not contain parabens, phthalates, sulphates, or bismuth.
