Last year, I volunteered to teach my son’s kindergarten class about some of the art world’s greats. Our first lesson was a very fun–and very messy–delve into the techniques of Jackson Pollock. Each child had the opportunity to splatter, drip and dribble paint onto a gigantic canvas on the floor, in the style utilized by Jackson himself.
MAC has channelled the unique abstract art created by Pollock with their “In The Abstract” highlighter, part of the Art of Powders collection. The base shade of this highlighter is a universally flattering peachy/pink. While the gold splatters seem minimal, you can definitely detect a hint of gold when you apply this powder highlighter.
