MAC Matte Lip Collection

The matte lip is here to STAY readers, so if you still haven’t warmed to the trend, it’s time to get used to it! These lipsticks are now a part of MAC’s permanent makeup collection, so you can see the brand doesn’t expect the move toward matte to end anytime soon.

Swatches from left to right: Stone- a deep cool-hued brown, D is for Danger- an incredible true red, and Velvet Teddy- a medium peachy-neutral. These pigment-rich shades aren’t the chalky mattes your grandmother wore! MAC describes the finish as “suede” and I feel that description is dead-on.

Retail price is $16 per lipstick.
