The MAC Me Over collection for Fall 2011 contains nail lacquer shades that are polar opposites! Some are practically as pale as snow, while others are deep and dark. Here are three of them for your viewing pleasure!
From the Icelandic Cool color lineup comes “Quiet Time” swatched at far left, and “Fatigues” swatched at far right. Quiet Time is described by MAC as a beige nude, but my personal opinion is the shade is an opaque cream. It’s very pale and understated, the perfect neutral shade for Fall 2011. Fatigues is described by MAC as an army green. To this blogger’s eye, there appears to be a putty/gray element to this shade too… a bit more pale and ashy than the classic army green shade.
From the New Black color lineup comes “Purple Majesty” swatched in the center. This shade is described by MAC as a deep purple. To me it’s more a classic wine shade after two coats. Perhaps three coats are needed to really do this purple justice.
MAC Nail Lacquer is free of DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde. I’m always extremely pleased with the wear-time I am able to achieve with a MAC mani/pedi!

Its always nice to transition from Summer nail colors to Fall. “Quiet Time” looks like it would make a great Fall bridal manicure.
