I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there’s an easy way to tell what new launches I’m most excited about. The more jazzed I am by a collection, the more photos I tend to publish. It’s simply because I find them so visually appealing, I have a really tough time editing them out and preventing you from seeing them. Keeping that in mind, you’re going to have to do a WHOLE LOT of scrolling to get to the end of this post, because I have a ton of photos of the MAC Metallic Lips collection I want to show off.
Before I get to a million other lipstick pics, let’s take a peek at some swatches! At first glance, the colors in this collection appear bold and dark, but truthfully the base is actually a semi-sheer frost laced with tons of shimmer. The look is distinctly metallic, and yet so easy to wear! I’ve been heavily sampling this collection, and have found myself wearing shades I wouldn’t normally wear (like bold purple Royal Hour) because the formula is so forgiving!
Overall the appearance of each is a multi-dimensional metallic pearl. Truly unique, and a great departure from all of that matte! Retail price is $17 per lipstick.
