If you never tried MAC Kajal Eye-Liner you’re in for a treat. The brand recently released a collection containing the Modern Twist Kajal Liners in an array of colors in this formula ranging from a pearly white to an inky black! I’m a longtime fan of MAC eye pencils and this Kajal formula is fantastic! This formula has a very smooth application. There’s zero tugging on the skin while you apply, so you end up with a smooth and even application. There’s no need to sharpen the pencil, simply use the twist mechanism to dispense more product. This eye pencil also features a very sharp, precise tip that’s perfect for tightlining or waterlining the eyes.
Shoreline and Squid Swatches, MAC Modern Twist Kajal Liner Collection
The two shades featured above are “Shoreline” at the left, a deep gray and “Squid” at the right, a pure dark black. The color is amazingly saturated. The finish is sultry like a kohl, and very rich. I’ve gotten a lot of use out of the Shoreline shade, since gray is a modern neutral and this shade in particular leans warm and is a nice departure from my “go to” shades of brown.
Retail price is $17 per pencil. These pencils are part of the permanent MAC color collection.
