I love MAC Eye Khol Pencils. They deliver intense color but with a soft, sultry look. One color in particular I’ve had a “long term relationship” with is MAC Eye Kohl in Prunella. I first used it when the shade was included in the MAC Heirloom Mix collection, and quickly it became my “go-to” eye pencil. Prunella really adds an intensity to brown eyes that a standard brown pencil wouldn’t. This almost-neutral shade leans purple, and that plummy undertone really makes brown eyes pop!
A total of three Eye Kohl colors are included in the MAC Nutcracker Sweet Holiday 2016 collection. From left to right is Feline– one of the darkest inky-blacks I’ve ever seen, Prunella, and Powersurge– a deep tarnished gold. These pencils apply smoothly and evenly, and can be smudged into an incredible smoky look. They’re party-perfect choices for the holiday season!
