MAC “Surf, Baby” might not be available when checking out the “What’s new” portion of the site… but some of the products from their limited-edition summer collection are still available! Seems like everyone I talk to is looking for new ways to achieve the ultimate faux tan, so allow me to introduce MAC Skinsheen Bronzer Stick!
These chunky sticks are super creamy… so apply with care, or you can easily overdo it! Photograph above, left is Tan-Tint and right is Billionaire Bronze.
Swatch above: the ultra-deep “Billionaire Bronze”. If you want people to think you’ve been in Costa Rica, this shade is the one you’re after. The image above shows how the shade looks when applied (at left) and how it blends out. As you can see, many different shades of tan can be achieved with this product! If you’re a minimalist, you can still use MAC Skinsheen Bronzer Stick! Those in search of a savage tan will be happy with the build-able coverage.
Swatch above: the medium hued Tan-Tint. This shade is an excellent choice for paler skin.
Retail price is $29.50 per Bronzer Stick.

Another great post about one of my favorite beauty products…bronzer. Could I get away with wearing this alone or would I still need a foundation under? Also, is it sweat/water resistant? The less products I can get away with in 90+ weather, the better! Thanks!

I think that would all depend on the amount of coverage you generally need, Adriana! I wouldn’t pass on my foundation, and would generally opt to use this product sparingly on the t-zone, for a more natural finish. This product is resistant to the dreaded makeup slide caused by warm weather, though I wouldn’t wear it in the pool!

Sounds great. I generally use tinted moisturizer as my foundation with a bit of powder bronzer on top. I’m guessing I can use this instead of the powder. By the way, I love the way you describe the product’s build-ability! One more thing…does it clog your pores?
