When I first saw this Gold Xixi lipstick, I thought “Oh, this is probably a subtle hint of gold!” NOPE! This is an extremely pigment rich, in your face yellow-gold! If you are looking for a statement lipstick, this collection is one you need to see. Gold Xixi is described by MAC as a Lemony Pastel Yellow. Other colors in the collection include Cloud Gait (pastel turquoise lustre), Plum Princess (a pastel plum/lavender matte), DDDevilish (pastel hot pink matte), and Vermillion Vee (true red matte). Retail price $20 per lipstick.
The only colorless product in the MAC x Chris Chang collection is this Prep + Prime finishing powder. Completely translucent, this powder can be used on any complexion to help soften the appearance and mattify the finish of your makeup. The limited-edition compact design is a reward for replenishing this makeup bag staple now. Retail price is $29.50.
MAC Cream Colour Base is the ultimate in buildable color. The finish is sheer and dewy, and it can be layered until you achieve the desired intensity. This fragrance-free product can be used on eyes, lips, or cheeks. It’s the ultimate is versatility! The shade Rich Coral is an intense blood orange color. Other shades include Peony Pavilian (hot pink), and Sockit Xiqu (dirty lavender). Retail price is $23 per compact.
