When I’m in search of high-pigment, vivid color, I always reach for Make Up For Ever product. When it comes to breadth of color selection, and intense shades, they simply have EVERYTHING. The recently released Aqua Shadow collection doesn’t disappoint, though the new product was only launched in 12 shades (which seems tiny by Make Up For Ever standards)!
Swatched above are four of the shades of Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadow. From left to right: 30e- a gleaming frosty pink, 8e- a medium teal, 20e- a frosty taupe, and of course the staple shade 0e- pure pitch black. I’ve been using these quite a bit lately, in particular the 30e and 20e shades, which are light and airy for Summer! I haven’t been doing a lot with darker shades lately, but 8e and 0e will definitely work their way into the rotation for the Fall of 2012!
I’m a big fan of the crayon-like application, which makes it easy to place the product in symmetry. The wear time is long and the product doesn’t settle into fine lines or otherwise call attention to flaws! I’m thinking I need to check out 32E, a frosty white shade.
Retail price is $20.
