My Kind Of Picnic

Lancôme has launched some amazing new products for fall 2016, and has given a facelift to some of their cult-favorites. They were perfectly presented in this beautiful picnic basket, and let me tell you… this is my kind of picnic! Energie de Vie Energizing Collection: This new skin care routine features extracts of lemon balm and goji berry to reinvigorate the skin, improve dryness, and reduce environmental damage. Energie de Vie Liquid Care retails for $55, Energie de Vie Water Infused Cream retails for $55, Energie de Vie Pearly Lotion retails for $50, Energie de Vie Melt-in Sleeping Mask retails for $65, and Energie de Vie Foam Cleanser retails for $35.
Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation: a cushion compact for foundation application that’s perfectly portable and blends beautifully while providing SPF50 protection. Fourteen shades are available. Retail price $47.
Glow Subtil: a cream based highlighter that delivers a natural-looking youthful glow. Five shades are available. Retail price is $30.
L’Absolu Rouge: this long-time favorite lipstick now features an updated case and modern array of shades in cream, matte, and sheer finishes. Want to see how one will look on you? Sourcils Styler: this brow gel delivers light hold and a bit of color. Four shades are available. Retail price is $26.50.
Grandiose Liner: this felt-tip liner features a unique bendable applicator, mimicking the makeup artists trick of bending applicator wands for perfect applicaton. Retail price is $32.
Grandiose Extreme: the beloved Grandiose Mascara has been reformulated to deliver more intense color. The applicator wand features a curvy “swan neck” design to ensure you can easily coat every lash. Retail price is $32.
Genifique Youth Activating Second Skin Mask: reintroduced for fall, this sheet mask made with cellulose clings perfectly to the skin, delivering an intense anti-aging product during the 20 minute wear time. Retail price is $105 for six sheet masks.

NEW MAC Liptensity Lipstick Collection

NEW MAC Liptensity Lipstick Collection Photos

It isn’t often I have the privilege to play with makeup that is just so amazingly photogenic. I mean, these amazing limited-edition lipstick tubes from the MAC Liptensity collection are so gorgeous, I even had a blast playing with them before I actually applied the product to my lips!

To develop the collection, MAC tapped the talents of tetrachromat Maureen Seaberg. Maureen is one of few with the genetic ability to see up to 100 million hues of color the average human eye can’t distinguish. The result is a collection of 24 lipstick shades with amazing color payoff and lustre! The new MAC Liptensity lipstick collection will be available online starting September 20, and on-counter from September 21-November 17, 2016. Colors range from black to a pale neutral. I’ll be publishing a more in-depth look at the collection tomorrow, including swatches of EVERY SINGLE COLOR!

Retail price is $21 US, and $25 CAD.
