Of the myriad Spring 2010 color collections recently launched, the makeup recently introduced by tarte cosmetics ranks high on the list of makeup I’m dying to get my mitts on! A collaboration between celebrity makeup artist Tina Turnbow and tarte, the “Flower Child” collection contains shades that accentuate natural beauty.
My most coveted item? The adorable, marker-esque gel lip stains pictured above (retail price $24). Apparently, these stains are mint-infused, and deliver all day color. Impressive! I’m also equally enthralled with the color range. From a deep berry to an orangey peach, these six shades have all of the beauty bases covered.
With four earthy hues and six shades that POP, the Flower Child Eyeshadow Palette includes a double-ended eyeliner in matte brown and shimmering jade. Of course… let’s not forget the flowery design! This palette doubles as a chic Spring accessory!
Retail price is $44.
Naturally, any makeup collection by tarte would be incomplete without a new shade of their iconic natural cheek stain.
The shade “Flower Child” was inspired by the natural glow of the flower children of the Haight-Ashbury era, and boasts a deep golden rose shade.
Retail price is $30.
