As I sampled Max Factors brand-new Vivid Impact Lip Color, I mused that if she were still with us, Jackie O herself would most certainly be toting a few of these lipsticks in her bag this Spring.
Why? The semi-matte finish and super-creamy color are so amazingly ladylike, and matched lip pencils ensure a perfectly painted pout with no tell-tale dark line. Vivid Impact Lip Color is elegant and polished to the extreme. Totally Jackie!
After sampling this lipcolor, I understand why it was used on the runways of New York during Spring/Summer 2009 fashion week. This lipstick wears incredibly well. When it finally does fade, it fades evenly. I was never left looking patchy.

Here is my take on a few of the colors: Pin-up Pink is bright and cheerful, perfect for Spring. Ablaze is the perfect universally flattering glam shade of red. Every woman should own at least one red lipstick like this! My personal favorite is Rose Rage. A slightly more sophisticated version of pink, it looks equally great dressed up or dressed down. I’m wearing it right now!
