I’ve been wondering when brown lipstick would make a reappearance. I don’t think it’s going to be the “it” shade for another year or two, but two interesting things have happened: 1) Estee Lauder included a brown lipstick shade in their limited-edition Metallics collection for fall and 2) I am CRAZY about it!
Estee Lauder Metallics: Mirrored Orchid and Burnished Bronze Swatches
Mirrored Orchid and Burnished Bronze are two shades of Pure Color Vivid Shine Lipstick with a Chrome Metal Effect. Mirrored Orchid is a lush purple, and Burnished Bronze is a medium nutmeg. Both shades have a metallic finish, but it’s very subtle. These lipsticks apply smoothly, and leave gorgeous streak-free color.
Burnished Bronze has quickly become my “go-to” color this fall. The medium neutral shade is very modern, and goes with everything! I find the warmth to be complementary to my complexion as well.
