MAC Surf Baby Lipstick is all about Skinnydipping!
Well, perhaps not exactly. But, the collection certainly includes it’s fair share of skin-toned shades!
Two of the lipsticks included in the collection are Naturally Eccentric, an opaque pale-nude shade. It’s polar opposite is Mocha, a chocolate brown shade.
The year was 1986, and pale lips were all the rage. When we pre-teen fashionistas ran out of our favorite pearl-shaded lipstick, we would substiture with concealer! Naturally Eccentric lipstick reminded me of this 80s trend. The lipstick has a zinc-oxide opacity, and is a super pale shade of nude with a lustre finish.
Mocha Lipstick is what happens to nude lipstick when it grows up. It’s a lovely nutmeg medium-brown shade. Ideal when you want a little more than barely-there. MAC graced this shade with a luxe satin finish. Such a polished and sophisticated shade!
