These days, it seems my household is all about Vitamin C! I give my sons extra doses in the morning and evening to keep school-shared sniffles at bay. Now I’m even slathering my skin with the miracle vitamin! Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel is new on the skincare scene, a glycolic peel that also contains Vitamin C to protect against free radical damage.
Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel Review
I’ve been using Murad’s latest peel–Intensive-C Radiance Peel–religiously, and have LOVED the results! Murad Environmental Shield Intensive C Radiance Peel was released in April, and if you’re a sensitive skinned gal like me, you might want to give this product a try.
My cheeks are the most sensitive spot on my face, so generally I sample peels on my t-zone first. After one use, I was comfortable with how gentle this chemical peel is on the skin, and graduated it to use over the entire face. The Intensive-C Radiance Peel is a chemical peel, so you don’t need to worry about the irritation sometimes caused by a physical scrub. After only 10 minutes, the skin is left looking more radiant, and feeling eternally smoother and softer. Apparently, the ingredient Vitamin C is a champ when it comes to reducing the signs of past sun damage (like dark spots).
The brand warns that the sensation of the peel might feel tingly, but that sensation is mild compared to other glycolic peels I’ve sampled in the past.
I’ve tried to squeeze in professional facials as a pampering treat from me to me, but it is SO hard! This 10-minute peel is perfection if time is scarce. You can use this peel 1-2 times weekly, so go to town!
Retail price is $49.50 for a 1.7 oz tube.
