My favorite way to wear the Velvet Lip Pencil by NARS is as a stand alone lip color. These chunky little lip crayons deliver fabulous, smooth color. They also happen to have an impressively long wear time!

The moment I knew that this new limited-edition shade from the NARS Spring 2013 collection was a winner? A woman actually stopped to compliment me on my lipstick while I was wearing it! When does that happen? Unusual, indeed!
The finish is a frosty, latte brown, and goes with everything! In the mid-80s, every girl in my hometown owned a lipstick named “Frosted Brownie”. This NARS shade reminds me of Frosted Brownie, and is as perfect a match for the bright clothing of the 80s as it is for Spring 2013.
The NARS Velvet Lip Pencil formula contains Vitamin E to moisturize, and Hyaluronic Spheres to make the lips look fuller. I can’t say enough great things about these pencils!
