The NARS Fantascene holiday color and gifting collection contains a fair share of bold colors, but they’re balanced with wearable neutrals like Besame Mucho, one of three limited-edition Killer Shine Lipstick shades from the collection.

Besame Mucho is neutral, but certainly not invisible. The shade is an ideal modern neutral, a medium peach-beige hue with incredible high shine. I find myself reaching for it again and again. Is it the color? No. It’s the amazing feeling of this creamy, dreamy new formula! Killer Shine has an emollient feel to it, and applies color smoothly and evenly. The finish is shiny like a gloss.
Retail price is $29. Other shades in the collection are Redemption (a metallic pink champagne), and No Shame (a red plum).
