The second I looked at the press release, I knew I wanted to give the shade “Siam” a test drive for your viewing pleasure. I’m really loving a good, red cheek for Spring 2014!

But wait… let’s not forget the reason NARS named this product “Multiple”. This versatile wet/dry color can be used on both cheeks and lips. Above is an image of Siam unblended, to give you an idea of how this formula looks when applied as a lipstick. It’s a vibrant red that leans a bit orange. The finish is matte, but not the dry chalky-looking matte of yesteryear! The Multiple actually works so well as a lipstick, and stays put for long-wear once applied. Be sure to buy a lip brush for application!
I’m sure you are surprised to see how subtle Siam can actually look once blended. The swatch above really showcases the youthful flush that Siam can deliver to the cheeks. It’s a great substitution for a classic pink.
