It has been a pleasure to sample the recently-released NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer formula. Generally speaking, I’m not a big fan of tinted moisturizers. I prefer the look of more coverage, or should I say I “require” more coverage. NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer is a bit more opaque than the standard tinted moisturizer. Also, the coverage is buildable, so you can apply the product lighter on areas that are naturally pristine, but apply a second time to problem spots that need more coverage and concealment.
How To Apply NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer
To apply this product, I generally blend the formula all over my face in a somewhat sloppy manner, similar to just a straight-up moisturizer. You don’t need to be precise here, because this tinted moisturizer is amazingly blendable. Then, I double back for a second application on trouble spots like my cheeks, chin, nose, or anywhere with a breakout. The results is the exact amount of coverage my skin needs, but in a light and natural finish for Spring and Summer.
The look is definitely lighter and more casual, but not without compromising the finish and clarity that I require. The SPF30 is a bonus, as the sun protection is actually as good as some of the sunscreen I own. All in all, this is the type of product I’d recommend to a friend (and I already have. She and I both wear “Alaska”).
