The Obagi Medical Sun Shield formula delivers a broad-spectrum SPF 50 protection, and also a matte finish that doesn’t make you look like an oil slick all day long! The SPF 50 sun protection is unbelievable, I apply this product before my foundation in the morning, and haven’t needed to reapply for the rest of the day (though for the record, I probably should).

The Sun Shield product is sheer but does leave a bit of a white casting on the skin. Those with allergies will be happy to know that it is PABA free and fragrance free, two things I love because as I age I have been experiencing more and more allergic reactions to product with fragrance. Who wants fragrance in a sunblock anyway?
