This array of rainbow colors are intended to be used for some serious freestyle nail artistry. The colors included look like they’ve been pulled from a crayon box, and each has a semi-sheer jelly-like finish. The only exception to this is Silver Canvas, which can be used as a accent color or a base coat to make those pretty primary colors really stand out!
I’ll admit I was feeling pretty defeated by nail art. Stamping, water marbleing, ombre… I’ve tried every effect and generally felt my results looked amateur. The OPI Color Paints collection is perfect for aspiring nail artists like me. Channel you inner Jackson Pollack and have some fun! The formula of this collection is unique. These colors are truly blendable, and then settle to deliver a smooth, shiny finish. You can create your own “splatter paint” effect without it looking like you piled on layers and layers of color.

The Darker Shades! From left to right: Landscape Artist, Indigo Motif, Purple Perspective, and Pen & Pink
OPI Color Paints Swatches
OPI Chromatic Orange is one of my favorite colors from the collection. Look at the glossy finish on this deep orange!
OPI Indigo Motif is a deep, true-blue.
Can you get any more lush than OPI Landscape Artist?
OPI Magenta Muse is a deep pink that leans a bit red.
OPI Pen & Pink is a bright, vivid pink.
Lemonade anyone? OPI Primarily Yellow serves up a crisp citrusy zing!
I am crazy about OPI Purple Perspective. This seasonless eggplant can be worn now or in the winter!
Last, but certainly not least, is OPI Silver Canvas. This gleaming metallic silver can be worn stand alone (WOW does it make a fabulous pedicure) or used as a base coat for the other colors in this collection. I’ll be following up with some examples of how to use this collection in a later post.
Remember, you are only limited by your own imagination with this collection! Have some fun!
