I received this cute box with OPI’s Kiss Me On My Tulips as part of the Glossybox USA launch sample selection I wrote about just recently. This vivid shade of pink part of the OPI Holland collection, their Spring/Summer colors for 2012. I’m a long-time fan of OPI, but it has been quite a while since I’ve shown off their wares here at Raging Rouge. Taking Kiss Me On My Tulips for a spin reminded me why I have long loved OPI!
Here’s the thing… I’ve shown off swatches of many nail polish shades for you here on my beauty blog, and I’m sure you’ve noticed I’m not the most skilled with a self-manicure! My hat is off to the nail bloggers with their perfect fingertips and skill at nail art! My cuticles are dry and jagged (this full-time Mom is very hands on). OPI’s wide applicator brush helps anyone apply like a pro, it simply allows for excellent control. The color is vivid, and applies streak free. OPI’s formula is also long-wearing and chip-resistant (which is a must for active women like me). Naturally–and importantly–the formula is free of DBP, Formaldehyde and Toluene. No nasties here!
