Shopping with your children when they are young boys is a brief and painful experience. When it comes to browsing in Bath & Body Works, the task is a bit more relaxed and enjoyable. My boys smell every single candle, and one of the shops near my home even has a sink where they can lather up with anti-bacterial soap. They end up with clean hands, I end up with an opportunity to shop. Win, win!
Naturally I was captivated when I stumbled upon a Forever Red display while wandering about with my youngest. The red bottles lured me the way a bright light lures a moth. Sadly, I only discovered the scent when my son was already bored, so we headed out before I had time to play.

Luckily, the Bath & Body Works team passed along some samples about a week later. Forever Red is the latest scent from the brand, and I have to say… they’ve launched some real winners lately!
The note that quickly tickled my olfactory was that of an energetic, crisp pomegranate. Other sweet notes include Peche de Vigne (a French peach that grows only in August), Marshmallow and Vanilla Rum. A wee bit of Red Osmanthus adds a botanical quality.
Retail prices are: Eau de Parfum ($44.50), Fine Fragrance Mist ($22), Rollerball Fragrance ($12.50), Shimmer Mist ($22), Shower Gel ($18), Body Lotion ($20) and Body Cream ($20).
This line is a bit pricier than other Bath & Body Works fragrance collections, due to the expensive fragrance oils used to develop the scent. It’s WORTH the splurge!
