I am not even exaggerating, when I heard that MAC would be launching a limited-edition color collection paying homage to Betty and Veronica–Archie’s Girls–I was giddy!
I’m a life-long fan of Archie and the girls. Even when I got to an age that reading comics was considered dorky, I simply hid my guilty pleasure from my friends. In fact, when the “Love Showdown” series collection launched in 1994… I BOUGHT IT, READ IT, AND LOVED IT.
I was 22!
But off of my Archie tangent… The collection contains a color makeup lineup for the Bettys of the world, and a separate color collection for the Veronicas. Accessories featuring the love triangle we grew up with are also available.
I WANT THEM ALL! I seriously do.
Collection launches on January 31, 2013 in NYC. Available at all MAC locations in North America starting on February 7, 2013. Internationally in March 2013.
