I’m always in search of a vivid, sophisticated shade that isn’t simultaneously intimidating. From the recent MAC Fashion Sets collection comes Ablaze Lipstick, a bold matte coral that is the perfect balance between bold and understated.
MAC is Ablaze This Spring
The shade Ablaze is swatched above. You can see that the color swipes on evenly, with a creamy texture, yet a soft matte finish. I immediately added this to my rotation, because the formula doesn’t bleed (so I can apply on the go without worry about a mess later). Pairing this shade with an oversized pair of sunnies can make even jeans and a t-shirt look glam.
Each shade available in the MAC Fashion Sets collection is in Lipstick, Lipglass, Lip Pencil, Nail Lacquer and Eye Shadow form! Curious what Ablaze would look like on the eyes? Stay tuned… In the meanwhile, I’ll definitely need to grab a bottle of this for my manicure.

Love the color! I have found that I have to troll the counters and use the samples because the colors tend to change color when applied. I will most certainly troll for the Ablaze!
